I received my Ph.D. in 2017. During my Ph.D., I was awarded several prizes, scholarships, and internships, including visiting research position and an internship at the National Institute for Materials Science (NIMS), Japan.
After my Ph.D., I was accepted as a post-doctoral researcher at NIMS, working on mesoporous and 2D materials. In late 2019, I was awarded the JSPS fellowship in Japan.
My current position is Senior Research Fellow at Koç University, Istanbul, the first ranking University in Turkey.
I am currently researching the development of new
porous and layered materials and
studying their (photo)(bio)catalytic features.
